Leadership Program “The Dream of the Acorn”

The leadership program “The Dream of the Acorn” aligns itself within the SDO agenda. In this manner we contribute to improve the lives of others, specially for girls, teenagers and young women.

Education is the basis for the improvement of our lives and contribute to sustainable development. Besides improving people’s quality of life, access to inclusive and equitable education can help to provide the necessary tools for developing innovative solutions for the most important problems of our world:

  • Eliminate gender disparities in education.
  • Offer safe, non-violent, inclusive and efficient learning environments for everybody.
  • Considerably increase the availability of trained and qualified teachers.

Women and girls still suffer from discrimination and violence in all places of the world. Gender equality is not just a fundamental human right, it is also a necessary base to achieve a more pacific, prosperous and sustainable world.

  • End all forms of discrimination against women and girls.
  • Ensure plenty and effective participation of women and equal opportunities for leadership in all decision-making levels such as political, economic and public spheres.

Inclusive alliances built upon principles and values, a shared vision, and shared goals; placing people and the world as the center. Necessary at a global, regional, national and local level.

  • Foster and promote the creation of effective alliances with public sectors, public-private sectors and civil society, benefiting from experience and strategies to obtain resources from these alliances.
